Key Educators
Every child who attends Port Elliot Kindergarten is allocated a Key Educator. The role of the Key Educator is to observe, plan for and implement learning opportunities for each child as well as document children’s learning throughout the year, culminating in a Statement of Learning at the conclusion of a child’s time at Kindergarten.
Key Educators work closely with families, listening to their hopes and dreams for their children, collaboratively determining goals and strategies for learning and discussing progress. 2 formal opportunities to do this are offered during the year and educators are also available at the beginning and end of the day.
